Test
Make sure the person you are testing has NO INJURIES. If you are unsure, DO NOT do the test.
Step 1:Have the person raise their arms straight out from their sides – like a “T”.
Explain that you will be pressing downward near their elbow and that they should attempt to resist.
Step 2:Have them raise their arms and balance on one foot (see diagram). It makes no difference
which foot they choose to stand on. Then, steadily press down near the subject’s elbow until they lose
their balance.
Step 3:Repeat Step 2, with the subject now holding, wearing or standing on an EFX embedded product.
They should immediately feel an effect on their strength and balance.
REMEMBER: Press down on the arm that is on the same side as their raised leg. |
